Aussie mum shares devastating update about her youngest daughter

Australian influencer Allanah Harris has shared a devastating update about her one-year-old daughter’s health.
The mum-of-four has been sharing news about Daisy’s condition on both her Instagram and TikTok, but she’s sadly received a heartbreaking update from her doctors.
Alongside a photo of herself holding Daisy in a hospital bed, she explained her medical team has made the decision to move her into palliative care.
“Daisy’s condition has not improved the way we were hoping for it to and the hospital has decided to move her into Palliative care,” she wrote on Instagram.

“This news has come as quite a shock for us and we are still coming to terms with what this means and how it will look for us & our family moving forward.
“Over the coming weeks the hospital will be working alongside us to create a safe environment for Daisy to be back at home with us under 24/7 palliative nurse support.”
The family just wanted to have their daughter home in time for the festive season, but it’s not what they wanted.
“Although we may have got our wish for Daisy to be home for Christmas, we really wish it was under better circumstances,” she continued.

“Brock and I are forever grateful for all the love and support we have received from our beautiful community, near and far.”
Daisy has tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), which is a rare genetic disease. According to The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, it causes: “Non-cancerous (benign) tumours to grow in the brain and several areas of the body, including the spinal cord, nerves, eyes, lung, heart, kidneys, and skin.”
Allanah has been sharing Daisy’s condition with her followers on both TikTok and Instagram, since they first got the diagnosis in June.
Daisy has been in hospital for weeks now and at one point she had been in a comatose state for 100 hours.

“Daisy was once a bright and bubbly little girl that has recently taken an unfortunate turn and has now put herself in what appears to be a comatose state for over 100 hours,” she wrote at the time.
“Unfortunately there aren’t any medications or stimulants that are safe for Daisy to have to help her wake.
“Daisy has encountered countless needles/blood tests while ‘asleep’ and doesn’t so much as bat an eyelid.”
In one of the latest updates from Allanah in early September, she admitted they were praying for a miracle.
“We are really struggling to deal with our new reality 😭💔Daisy has now had 2 brain surgeries and we are no closer to getting any answers,” she wrote.
The couple also share James, seven, Chase, three, and Ellie, two.
A GoFundMe was created by Brock and Daisy’s grandmother to help cover the cost of Daisy’s ongoing treatment, it is in their Instagram bio.
